Martin Stößlein received his doctoral degree in 2006 at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany.
His supervisor was Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Peter Mertens.
Martin's research interests are strategic management (e.g. growth strategies, restructuring), top information systems (e.g. stakeholder information systems),
user modeling, personalized systems, crisis communication and computerbased processes in industry and retail (e.g. supply chain management).
Two of his more than 30 publications were awarded as best papers by well-known conferences in Germany and in the US.
Before he studied industrial engineering and management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at the TU Berlin, sinology at the FU Berlin and finance at the University of California, Berkeley.
During the last two years of his studies he was employed by KPMG Consulting.
